Past 20 years consultancy:

  • Established in 1998/9, Robynne Nelson Consulting has become a strong, vibrant, deeply cultural and spiritual consultancy providing a range of highly ethical business services that come from a place of deep respect and simplicity. In July 2009, Robynne’s Consultancy became a registered company – Healing the Spirit Pty Ltd.
    • Some of Robynne’s proudest achievements over the past 23 years include:

      • Review of Aboriginal Employment Plan Royal Children's Hospital
      • Review of Koori Social and Emotional Wellbeing Program at Royal Children's Hosptal
      • Development of Baroona Youth Healing Centre and Yakapna Family Healing Centre for Njernda Aboriginal Corporation (funding submissions and service models).
      • Delivery of Needs Analysis and Koori Cross Border Regional Health Plan for Albury/Wodonga Aboriginal community, which led to the establishment of the Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service.
      • Organisation and facilitation of 10 Loddon Mallee Koori Mental Health Conferences at Tooleybuc over past 5 years.
      • Development of Family Services Policy and Procedure Manuals for Mildura Aboriginal Corporation, Murray Valley Aboriginal Co-operative, and Njernda Aboriginal Corporation.
      • Development of HACC Policies for every Aboriginal HACC Service in Victoria.
      • Development of Community Aged Care Policy Manual for Gippsland and East Gippsland Aboriginal Co-operative.
      • Development of Parenting Education Package for Njernda Aboriginal Corporation and Echuca Regional Health in partnership.
      • Facilitating conferences in a culturally unique way which includes personal spiritual healing strategies for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal workers.
      • Provision of Cross Cultural Training to a vast range of organisations, agencies and departments


        • Robynne also provides a range of training for individuals who wish to self register for this training. This training has been broadly accessed from people across Loddon Mallee and Hume Regions; and from a range of core business areas including education, health, aged care and disability, cancer support services, hospitals, youth agencies, counsellors, GP's social workers, photographers, children and family services,, child protection, DHS, justice, etc.

          Professional Career: Other than Consultancy

          • Author Dharmalan Dana -- a book written on behalf of her father George Nelson and published 2014 in Australia and 2015 in Mauritius where it was launched by the Australian High Commission and Commissioner Susan Cole.
          • Chairperson of the first Yorta Yorta Traditional Owner Land Management Board, Barmah National Park 2013-2014.

Larry provides Culcha Camps for a range of groups including Aboriginal men and young people, Victoria Police, Department of Justice and Victorian based General Practitioners e.g. MCCC. These camps also extend to youth in the justice system, men struggling with family violence, men's groups and cultural mentoring.

Larry has 30 years working in the Aboriginal Justice system in Victoria, including oncall 24/7 as the Coordinator Aboriginal Community Justice Panel Shepparton, Team Leader of various Aboriginal justice programs including family violence, youth justice, CBO mentoring and a range of other services. He has been the Chairperson of Hume Regional Aboriginal Justice Advisory Committee, Hume Indigenous Family Violence Regional Action Group; and has been the Chairperson of the Victorian Community Justice Panel Executive up until August 2017.
